I stumbled across a Moulinex remix of Come On by Pineapples (thx Markus) this afternoon, and but a few clicks later discovered some Spanish dudes called Buffetlibre DJs released an online* remix compilation called Rewind. It’s all 80s remixes by current electro and indie outfits. You can check out all the tracks individually on the site, cop the mixtape, or download the ~450mb .zip. All for free!
Always looking for familiar dancefloor fodder, I skimmed through all the tracks. And while it’s not really enough to make a review per se, a few tracks stood out to me as being pretty decent and useful. Admittedly nothing groundbreaking per se, but some potentially very useful songs:
