Month three is rolling around and PHLTH just keeps getting bigger and badder! On Thursday, September 22nd we’re bringing you even more of the hardest, dirtiest beats with RUN DMT: creators of a thunder rumbling through the dubstep & bass scenes from their Austin TX stomping grounds to the entire continent and beyond. They’ll be joined by Delaware’s heavy bass go-to H-Mazz, rising star DirtyDave, and resident DJ/curator Flufftronix.
RUN DMT has been compared to a collision between a sun and a white dwarf, a creative explosion sending infinite shockwaves through the universe. It started as an experiment in sonic hyperbole in mid 2010 by Austin based electronic music producers Lemiwinks & Parson. John D Robbins aka Lemiwinks was a classically trained bagpiper and parallel universe enthusiast. Chris Parson aka Parson, was a career raver and an authority on out of body experiences. After many years of mutual attendance at local events and solo production endeavors, they decided to unite and create music that will move worlds. RUN DMT is an avalanche of sound taking over the world one set of eardrums at a time and shows no signs of stopping.
